Success Stories

Here we share some stories of the women and families we have helped, stories of hope, stories of new beginnings, stories of lives saved.  In order to protect the privacy of our clients, names have been changed.

Samantha

Samantha* was just 16 when she came to the Life Center with her mother for a pregnancy test; the test was positive. Although disappointed that her daughter at such a young age would be thrust into motherhood, Samantha’s mother supported her decision to choose life. That is not always the case.

Today Samantha‘s daughter is 14 months old and thriving. Samantha at 18, is pursuing her GED and recently started working with Amazon in a location near her home. She and her baby live with her parents and her baby loves being spoiled by the grandparents and aunt. Samantha will be visiting the Center soon for spring and summer clothing for her daughter that has been donated by our benefactors. The counselor asked Samantha to stay in touch, reminding her that we continue to pray for her and all our clients; we are there to support them for as long as they need us.

When Ane* came to the Life Center she was under an extreme amount of pressure. At the age of 35, she had lost her job as a bartender because she was pregnant and her boyfriend left her when she refused to have an abortion. She needed help and a friend and found both in Laura our office manager. Laura would call her to offer her support and encouragement.  She had been referred to the Sisters of Life who were trying to help her in other areas. The Center provided Ane with a layette, bassinet, clothing and many other items all through the generosity of our donors; her daughter was born in January 2019. Laura and Ane speak on a regular basis, fulfilling the Center’s promise that we not only pray for the women who come to us, but through God’s mercy and grace provide for their emotional, spiritual and material needs.
